What’s causing your suffering and pain is not the circumstances you are in, but your thoughts about the circumstances you’re in

28We often believe we can’t change our pain or our suffering but that couldn’t be further away from the truth. Our pain and suffering is controlled by: our focus, our language and our posture.

When we are suffering, there is something we are focusing on, certain thoughts. There is also certain language we are using inside our heads, usually negative language. And we also assume a certain posture, usually with our head down, shoulders down, shallow breathing, tense muscles. This determines how we experience the circumstances we are in.

If at any given circumstance we choose to change our posture to a more resourceful one, change the language in our heads to a more empowering one and change our focus, we will feel less pain and suffering! Willing to give it a go?

Our brain is like a muscle, the more we train, the easier it will be to put ourselves in this state!
