Last week inFertile Life was awarded two business awards for the Enhanced Fertility Programme:
The competition was fierce and we feel very honoured and blessed to have received these awards. It reinforces the hard work of this year, creating a new and innovative product that is helping infertile people not only in the UK but worldwide.
The truth is that there are 48.5 million people worldwide facing infertility. Some living in developed and rich countries like the UK but others live in in more deprived conditions, without access to doctors and nurses.
Even in the UK, and especially with the recent NHS cuts for fertility treatment, there is still a lot of people who don’t have access to treatment.
So we knew we would have to be innovative in our approach and mission to make a difference in these people’s lives.
Data shows that infertility is worsening and a lot of it is related to our lifestyle choices, behaviour and environment which cause abnormalities to eggs and sperm. In these situations, IVF doesn’t work. We need to start thinking differently. So we knew an innovative solution that tackled the problem at the source, that could help lots of people, no matter where they are in the world, at a reduced cost, was the way forward.
Overall we want to have impactful and meaningful change in people’s lives, help them achieve their dream of having a family, without that dream costing them their savings, without them having to re mortgage their house, borough from family and friends… Without it costing them their physical or mental health.
The result is the Enhanced Fertility Programme, an innovative online platform for people trying to conceive to improve their health for fertility.
Customers get 1 whole year of support. The programme is online and has been prepared using evidence-based research, in collaboration with Simulation For Digital Health accelerator at London South Bank University.
As the programme is online, customers can start it and access it whenever they want and in the comfort of their own home. For 1 whole year, people have access to presentations, recordings, webinars with specialists, and a forum to communicate with others enrolled in the same programme. People also have access to one session with a fertility nurse and coach to create their unique plan, get advice, motivation or direction. They access the information and support they need, when they need it: understanding Fertility and Conception, Nutrition, Hydration and Supplements, Physical Activity, Habits and Environment, and Managing Emotions.
We are also working with fertility clinics, helping them improve their patient experience, with a bespoke and tailored platform. With an improved experience, fertility clinics will increase their patient recruitment and retention rates. The Best Innovation Award and E-Business of the Year award certainly make justice to the impact we’re making in reproductive health.
